It was a double celebration at the "Eye of the Sun" a less than 3 hours solid walk to the peak of Mt Albert Edward located between the Chirime and Vanapa Valleys in the heart of the Goilala mountains separating the Central and Oro Provinces. The Continuing Jubilee Celebrations of 125 years of Evangelisation of the Southern Region nicely coincided with the 35th Independence Anniversary of Papua New Guinea.
